How to Find Birth Records When You Are Suspicious of Family Relations

Do your boyfriend and his sister seem unusually close?  If you’ve never met the rest of the family, and she’s about to move into your house, you might want to look into how to find birth records.

This is not to say that it’s a bad thing to be close to your family. Be proud that he is willing to help them in times of need.  That is a good thing and something many people later regret not being able or willing to do.  But at the same time, you don’t want to be taken advantage of or cheated on under your own roof.

Clues of Infidelity

Disturbingly close siblings and “siblings” who are nothing of the sort and plotting theft or murder – or both – against an unsuspecting victim are fodder for many a book, movie and television program.  Unfortunately, just because something shows up in fiction, doesn’t mean it’s impossible in real life.

What is less likely is that a man in sunglasses will spend hundreds of man-hours tracking down a single hair and a partial fingerprint.  Your best protection if you have suspicions is to confirm or deny them before anyone rides off into the sunset.

Suspicious Behavior that Leads to Checking Birth Records

There are stories that just don’t make sense or change too often or have nothing to back them up.  That doesn’t necessarily make them lies, but they are cause for questioning.  If you can’t get satisfying answers from your partner, you may need to look elsewhere.

Proving a person’s bonafides by learning how to or having someone find birth records can save you heartbreak and money.  It might even save your life.
