30 Apr 2007In Britain alone, 32% of divorces were attributed to infidelity last year. Half of all divorce cases involved hiring a sleuth. Hiring a sleuth – is it really necessary to catch a cheating spouse?
If you’re one who thinks it will hurt a lot find out if your spouse is really cheating on you if you think it would be too much to bear to find you spouse with someone with your own eyes, then, yes, hiring a private detective is for you. Take the case of Aimee Kitton. When her husband had gone cold and started to arrive home at 4am, she started to employ the service of a private detective to follow her husband. With the help of the private detective’s expertise, sure enough, her hunches were proven correct. The sleuth followed her husband all the way to his lover’s place where he fitted a listening device through which Aimee painfully listened as his husband shared a very passionate moment with his lover.
Sure, hiring private detectives or private eyes, as they are now commonly called, to work for you to follow on your spouses suspicious escapades could cost you a fortune. Depending on the job involved, a private eye could charge a couple thousands of dollars per contract. But they are all worth it. Private detectives are trained individuals with the ways of modern espionage and are experts in surveillance. They could go out and follow stealthily any target, going about his business unnoticed.
In another case from the same article, Maria Goldwin, paid a hefty 5,000 Pounds to a sleuth who successfully caught her husband cheating. Out of that money, the detective got videos of his husband with her lover in aLondon hotel and even retrieved deleted emails from his computer.
As discussed in my previous post, if you really wanted to save your relationship with your spouse then do all that you can to find out if he really is cheating on you at the first sign it. Whether to hire a professional or not is all up to you. You weigh the pros and cons.
